Theft From 5400 Block of Liberty

There was a theft from the 5400 block of S. Liberty St. that occurred on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at about 5:30 p.m. The victim reported it on Sunday, the 28th at about 9:00 a.m. The victim reported that he had unloaded several boxes that contained electronic equipment from his vehicle on Saturday, February 27th in the morning. He stated that he left the boxes on his front porch which is open and unsecure. He stated that he left his residence and that his wife was home and she didn’t hear anything during the day. He stated that his wife left the residence at about 6:00 p.m. and she noticed that one of the boxes had been knocked over and the contents of the box was on the floor of the porch. He stated that she contacted him and he returned home to find several of the electronic items missing. The victim stated that he doesn’t have security cameras. The Hurstville Patrol wasn’t notified of this incident by the victim. Carl Perilloux HSD Patrol Supervisor.
