Theft from 1300 block of Jefferson Avenue

It was reported by the victim that he is in the process of during some construction at a house in the 1300 block of Jefferson Ave. He told the police officer that on Tuesday, March 22, 1016 that he and his workers left for the day at about 5:00 p.m. and secured the house. He stated that they returned at about 8:00 a.m. on the 23rd. He stated that the doors were still locked, but they discovered a rear window open. There no signs of force entry and he stated that the window may have been left unlocked. They checked the house and discovered some the power tools missing. At this time the house has no security systems. The police officer checked the house for any possible evidence and was able to locate and lift some partial fingerprint from the window that was used to gain entry to the house.
