Construction Truck Burglarized

On Tuesday, March 21st the victim that he was working in the 5300 block of Camp St. and had parked and locked his construction van near the intersection of Leontine and Camp St. He reported that about 12:15 p.m. that he was informed by a co-worker that the passenger side window of the van had been broken out. The victim returned to the van and discovered that the passenger window had been smashed out and upon checking the van he discovered some power tools missing from the van. The victim stated that he placed a piece of plywood over the window in order to secure the van. The investigating officer observed the wood covering the window and checked the vehicle for evidence. The officer wasn’t able to locate any due to the fact that the victim had disturbed the scene will attempting to secure the van.
