Residence Burglary on Calhoun

 RESIDENCE BURGLARY ON CALHOUN

On Tuesday, Aug 30, NOPD 2nd District received a call to report a residence burglary in the 1500 block of Calhoun Street. Upon investigation and interview with the residents, it was learned that the residents were home with their dog in the afternoon, one napping and one watching television when a neighbor knocked on the door. It was at that time that the resident noticed that items were missing from the living room of his residence. Upon further investigation it was learned that the credit card taken was used at nearby stores. The victims reported that they were unsure if their front door was locked or not. NOPD observed no signs of forced entry. The investigation continues.
