Suspect Sought in Uptown Robberies

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE March 9, 2016 SUSPECT SOUGHT FOR UPTOWN ARMED ROBBERIES NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in two separate armed robbery incidents that occurred at Uptown businesses in January. Romalis Williams (DOB: 02/14/1993) is wanted for the armed robbery of Breads on Oak at 8640 Oak Street on January 30, 2016, and an attempted armed robbery of the Burger King at 2528 South Carrolton on January 6, 2016. A photo of Williams is included below. The suspect is currently driving a 4-door silver Audi with a temporary tag and is known to frequent the Pigeon Town neighborhood. Williams has multiple outstanding felony warrants in Orleans Parish and he should be considered armed and dangerous.
